‘Painting Party’ at Fishmoor

"WOW! WHAT A DIFFERENCE..."

The LSSA Fishmoor Team were supplied with paint from Crown Paints Ltd and have redecorated the Fishmoor Changing and Teaching rooms on Saturday 26th Nov 2011 ready for the start of the 2012 Sailing Season.

Twelve LSSA Adult and Junior Members came along in their old clothes and painted the whole building (and themselves). The day saw a large quantity of coffee, tea, soft drinks and biscuits consumed before we finished the job around 2-00!!

Thanks to James, Sophie, Sarah, Bill, Stewart, Chris (R), Gail, Carol, Paul, Ray, Chris (W) & Kris – sorry if I missed anyone, for turning up and helping with this essential maintenance job, thanks again.

LSSA Training Weekend February 2012

LSSA Logo The annual LSSA Training Weekend confirmed dates are 17^th to 19^th February 2012 at Tower Wood, Lancashire Outdoor Education Centre, Windermere. There will be a wide range of RYA Sailing and Power Boat Courses on offer available to suit all skill & experience levels, see the attached letter and application form.

The cost to LSSA members is £80 each including accommodation.

It is proposed this weekend will target Adult LSSA Members nevertheless Young People over 16 years, who are actively involved within the Association, may be considered if places are available. Please note Young People who attend will need a named Adult who will take full responsibility for them during the whole weekend.
