Lancashire School Sailing Association

You must read the Associations T&C’s related to

your activity or purchase before ticking the acceptance box during checkout.

 

 

 

Data Protection

The data you provide for all transactions below will be held in-line with the Associations data management policy. The data will be processed for all purposes in relation to our events or sales and the monitoring of Association activity. We will hold this data for period not exceeding 3 years from the date of the event or sale. By completing this form and submitting it you agree to the processing of the data provided for the purposes mentioned above. Without the requested data you will be unable to complete your purchase or attend the event, remembering you must provide accurate information.      

 

 

Waterdays Weekend Event

1/ Group Activities

  • Every group must have a group leader in attendance. The group leader is responsible for the young people when they are not on the water or under instruction by the Lancashire School Sailing Association.
  • The on-line booking must be completed by the group leader.

2/ Booking Details

  • Activity starts at 10am with all off the water by 4pm with the usual all stop for lunch.
  • Please note that adults may not get the opportunity to get on the water.
  • We MUST be informed if any young person cannot swim at-least 50m.
  • We MUST be informed if any young person has a disability or health condition that impairs their ability in any way to listen to instructions or carry out activities without the need for additional support. This is so we can plan to provide appropriate support.
  • This event is appropriate for ages between 8 and 18 years.

3/ Membership Details

  • All groups in attendance must be group members of or be members of organisations that are group members of the LSSA. If you are not sure, please declare this at the reception on arrival.
  • If you are not a group member, by completion and submission of this form, you agree to temporary membership that lasts for the duration of the event.

4/ Payment Details

  • The fee is per participant, for adults e.g. family members not participating on the water there is no charge, but we ask these to be kept to a minimum.
  • What you book is what you will be expected to pay, this is because places are limited and we will be unable to fill any cancellations.
  • If your group does not have access to BACS payment please call the organiser direct to arrange alternative method e.g. Cheques
  • Where the event is cancelled before the day the Association will refund any monies paid, less costs incurred by the Association e.g. card or bank fees, incurred non-refundable deposits etc.

 

 

Open Day Taster Events

1/ Taster Activities

  • Every participant must have a parent or guardian in attendance who will be responsible for the young people when they are not on the water or under instruction by the Lancashire School Sailing Association.
  • The on-line booking must be completed by the parent or guardian.

2/ Booking Details

  • Activity starts times are published on the booking page.
  • Please note that adults will not normally be able to get on the water.
  • We MUST be informed if any young person cannot swim at-least 50m.

Purchases

All items purchased from the Association are sold under the following conditions:-

  • All items have been checked and described as accurately as possible.
  • The Association will have no responsibility for their efficacy or future usage.
  • Additional specific conditions may be applied to individual items.
  • When purchased all items are to be removed from our venues.
  • If the item purchased is returned and is clearly shown to be faulty the Association will refund any monies paid, less costs incurred by the Association e.g. card fees, bank fees, etc.

 

 

Membership Fees

Membership Fees are paid under the following conditions:-

  • Membership is not transferable and must only be used by the registered member. Any misuse will result in the membership being cancelled.
  • The Association reserves the right to cancel any membership at the discretion of the Trustees.
  • Any part year memberships fees may be re-imbursed at the discretion of the Trustees, on a pro rata basis, less costs incurred by the Association e.g. card fees, bank fees, etc.
