The centre provide a dedicated safety boat and offer a wide range of dinghies Laser Funboats for beginners, single handed Toppers to double handed Laser Picos.
Young people who start sailing at Fishmoor have progressed to represent their county at national youth events, organized by National School Sailing Association and Royal Yachting Association.
The sailing season at Fishmoor stretches from Easter through to September, with some more experienced groups using the reservoir during the winter months. Most of the sailing sessions are organized through our various youth user groups during school term time, usually weekday evenings. During the holiday periods the reservoir is used extensively by local authority youth service groups, with weekend sailing usually by arrangement with the reservoir chairman.
